app can be frustrating because it will make you listen to syllables out of context and then give you multiple choice answers with similar syllables which would frankly be difficult even in your first language. Example Fu, Bu, Ku or Pu. It's not really a fair judgement of knowledge. Also the multiple choice poll up is annoying because it covers up the question so you can read it side by side. Not a bad app but could use some improvement. It's design is a bit sloppy.

Generally, I'm satisfied. I use this more than other language apps. Minigames are definitely welcome. I love that writing drills are included... though it's rather oversimplified. All it does is count strokes and it's on you to improve accuracy. That's fine. The art is also a mixed bag. Fantastic, ... oh, and meh are all present; making it feel kinda hodgepodge. All that said, it's more than I've seen from similar apps and I want to see them keep improving.

The placement test at the start isn't super clear, I think, as to what went wrong if you don't get it. As this is a "game" and not straight learning, there are some generic mobile game tropes: i.e. if you get 5 answers wrong in a lesson, you have to wait 5 minutes or spend currency before you can try again. I got an error that I could try again if I repeated an earlier lesson, but trying to do that just repeated the same error. Doesn't seem awful in concept, just didn't personally jive with it.

You need to repeat a previous lesson via the flame menu at the top in the classroom! When you have issues repeating a lesson, we're happy to assist you when you drop us a message via the in-app contact form on the city overview!
